Calligraphy on this painting is in Arabic Thulus script which says, “Kun Faya Kun” meaning – “Be,’ and it is”. It appears in eight different places in Qur’an.
Out of the eight aya, the phrase “KUN FAYAKUN” has been used at the end of aya in seven aya while in one aya (Sura Al-An’aam, Sura # 6, Aya # 73) it is used in almost the middle of the aya.
